CPHHA and the Community
The staff of Chesapeake-Potomac Home Health feel that it is both a privilege and a responsibility to continually improve the health of our community. In response to the needs of the region, the agency sponsors two support groups: The Alzheimer's Support Group and the Ostomy Support Group. Additionally, several community organizations routinely utilize CPHHA's facilities to hold meetings and training sessions.
Our commitment to improve the health of our neighbors, however, reaches beyond those receiving our care. Our staff supported numerous organizations in our region by participating as committee members for many great organizations, including the United Way, Amputees Helping Amputees, Senior Health Fairs, The Caregiver's Conference and the Area Council on Aging.
Additionally, CPHHA managers serve as board members for the Arc of Southern Maryland, St. Mary's Community Health Advisory Committee, Red Cross, and Leadership Southern Maryland.
